Maelstrom: Retaliation awesomeness

I swear I will get back to proper blogging some point soon. However, in the meantime, I need to froth about Maelstrom once again!

The awesome:

- High amounts of IC paranoia
- Getting business, and being rich enough to do things like eat at the noodle bar and buy Drake a drink for a change
- Tea and sweet things in Flambard
- The Jade Lotus, for amazing food, and being able to have a free meal there
- Getting engaged!! :D (About time!)
- Hot buttered rum
- Securing a goldsmith's workshop and getting one built for me in the colony
- The Metalworkers' Guild meeting, and the things discussed therein
- The supplication to the Smith
- A terrifying Saturday night (undead, oh my...)
- The Bastet getting rid of their debt and the many interesting turns the politics have taken (and all of you for great roleplay)
- The Glorious Hammer for being awesome and causing lots of trouble
- Carnelian, Yoshikazu, Ptolemy and Eburon (and that ophidian) - RIP, you were amazing, enjoy your next characters guys!
- Finding the perfect first-aid/alchemy kit for Ria
- Monstering on the Sunday morning, and this needs a sub-section:
+ "JAAAAAM!"
+ Being part of one big army with a power structure and thought-out tactics
+ Being able to get involved in combat for once
+ Seeing the whole field in one huge battle line
+ Being in the dubious position of being charged by the Glorious Hammer mameluks. TERRIFYING.
+ Landing blows on such celebrities as Mordecai and Alfas (heeheehee)

The not-so-awesome:

- Still not interacting with Mill'en as much as I keep meaning to
- Chickening out a bit from approaching groups of people to try to sell them jewellery. I must do better!
- The Bitter Moon being closed when we tried to go there
